Medical Definition of Lactated Ringer's solution
1. A solution containing NaCl, sodium lactate, CaCl2(dihydrate), and KCl in distilled water; used for the same purposes as Ringer's solution. Synonym: Hartmann's solution. (05 Mar 2000)
