4-amino-5-hydroxy-3-((4-nitrophenyl)azo)-6-(phenylazo)-2,7- naphthalenedisulfonic acid disodium salt. A dye used to stain proteins in electrophoretic techniques. It is used interchangeably with its acid form.
Pharmacological action: dyes.
