1. A branch from the pterygopalatine ganglion, passing through the sphenopalatine foramen, crossing to and then down the nasal septum, and through the incisive foramen to supply the mucous membrane of the hard palate. Synonym: nervus nasopalatinus. (05 Mar 2000)
