N-[1-(2-indol-3-ylethyl)-4-piperidyl]benzamide. A hypotensive agent with some anti-arrhythmic effects. It has been used to treat essential hypertension.
Pharmacological action: adrenergic alpha-antagonists, antihypertensive agents.
