A cholinesterase inhibitor. It has been used to reverse the muscular effects of gallamine and tubocurarine and has been studied as a treatment for alzheimer's disease and other central nervous system disorders.
Pharmacological action: cholinesterase inhibitor, nootropic agents, parasympathomimetic.
