6 alpha-fluoro-11 beta,21-dihydroxy-16 alpha-methylpregna-1,4-diene-3,20-diono. A topical glucocorticoid with anti-inflammatory activity used in the treatment of various skin disorders. It is used also as the acetate, caproate, and pivalate.
Pharmacological action: glucocorticoids, synthetic, glucocorticoids, topical.
