A corticosteroid used topically in the treatment of various skin disorders. It is usually employed as a cream, gel, lotion, or ointment. It has also been used topically in the treatment of inflammatory eye, ear, and nose disorders.
Pharmacological action: glucocorticoids, synthetic, glucocorticoids, topical.
