1. An adrenergic agonist that appears to interact with beta-2 and some alpha adrenergic receptors. It has been used as a vasoconstrictor agent. Pharmacological action: adrenergic alpha-agonists, adrenergic beta-agonists, adrenergic agonists, sympathomimetic, vasoconstrictor agents.
