1. 9,10-dihydro-12'-hydroxy-2'-methyl-5'-(phenylmethyl)ergotaman-3',6',18-trione. A derivative of ergotamine prepared by the catalytic hydrogenation of ergotamine. It is used as a vasoconstrictor, specifically for the therapy of migraine. Pharmacological action: analgesics, non-narcotic, vasoconstrictor agents.
