N,n-diethyl-4-methyl-1-piperazinecarboxamide. An anthelmintic used primarily as the citrate in the treatment of filariasis, particularly infestations with wucheria bancrofti or loa loa.
Pharmacological action: filaricides, lipoxygenase inhibitors.
