Medical Definition of Eimeria of geese
1. Eimeria truncata, a species occurring in the kidney tubules where it causes much damage and considerable mortality in young birds; Eimeria anseris, Eimeria nocens, and Eimeria parvula, occurring in the small intestine where Eimeria anseris can produce haemorrhagic enteritis.
