Medical Definition of Costen's syndrome
1.
A symptom complex of loss of hearing, otalgia, tinnitus, dizziness, headache, and burning sensation of the throat, tongue, and side of the nose; originally attributed to temporomandibular joint dysfunction resulting from occlusal disharmony, but currently recognised as not being well founded on anatomic and physiologic principles.
