1. A critical subpopulation of regulatory T-lymphocytes involved in MHC class I-restricted interactions. They include both cytotoxic T-lymphocytes (T-lymphocytes, cytotoxic) and suppressor T-lymphocytes (T-lymphocytes, suppressor-effector). (12 Dec 1998)
