Medical Definition of Wing-beating tumour

1. A coarse, irregular tumour that is most prominent when the limbs are held outstretched, reminiscent of a bird flapping its wings; due to up and down excursion of arm at abducted shoulder. Seen mainly with Wilson's disease. (05 Mar 2000)
