Medical Definition of Vestibuloneuronitis
1.
Inflammation of the inner ear and semicircular canals. These structures are normally responsible for the maintenance balance and the perception of body position.
Inflammation of these structures can result in nausea, vomiting and vertigo made worse by movement.
