Medical Definition of Venous angle
1. The junction of the internal jugular and subclavian veins, toward which converge the external and the anterior jugular and the vertebral veins, the thoracic duct in the left angle and the right lymphatic duct in the right angle. Synonym: Pirogoff's angle. In neuroradiology, the angle of union of the superior thalamostriate vein (vena terminalis) with the internal cerebral vein, usually closely behind the interventricular foramen of Monro. (05 Mar 2000)
