1. Glycoprotein (120 kD) originally defined as the antigen responsible for eliciting antibodies capable of blocking compaction in early mouse embryos (at the morula stage) and inhibiting calcium dependent aggregation of mouse teratocarcinoma cells. May be the mouse equivalent of LCAM, the chick cell adhesion molecule.
