Medical Definition of Tubal prominence
1. A ridge in the naso-pharyngeal wall posterior to the opening of the auditory (eustachian) tube, caused by the projection of the cartilaginous portion of this tube. Synonym: eustachian cushion, tubal prominence. (05 Mar 2000)
