Medical Definition of Tricholemmoma

A benign tumour derived from outer root sheath epithelium of a hair follicle, consisting of cells with pale-staining cytoplasm containing glycogen; multiple trichilemmoma's are present on the face in Cowden's disease.
Synonym: tricholemmoma.
