Medical Definition of Toremifene

(z)-2-(4-(4-chloro-1,2-diphenyl-1-butenyl)phenoxy)-n,n-dimethylethanamine. A non-steroidal antioestrogenic antitumour agent with rare or mild side effects. It has been shown to be effective in the treatment of advanced breast cancer.
Pharmacological action: antineoplastic agent, hormonal, oestrogen antagonists.
