Branches of vagus nerve to the cardiac plexus which branch from the vagi at thoracic levels, conducting presynpatic parasympathetic fibres to, and reflex afferent fibres from, the cardiac plexus.
Synonym: rami cardiaci thoracici nervi vagi.
