1. Of or pertaining to a rhonchus; produced by rhonchi. Rhonchial fremitus, a dull roaring or murmuring. A vibration of the chest wall that may be felt by the hand laid upon its surface. It is caused in the production of rhonchi in the bronchial tubes. (23 Aug 1998)
