Medical Definition of Pelger-huet anomaly

1. An inherited defect interfering with normal nuclear lobulation of neutrophils and eosinophils. The nuclei appear rodlike, spherical, or dumbbell-shaped and their structure is coarse and lumpy. (12 Dec 1998)
