Medical Definition of Oral (erosive) lichen planus
1. Oral manifestations of lichen planus characterised by white striae (Wickham's striae) of the oral mucous membrane and sometimes associated with ulceration; patients may or may not exhibit a history of cutaneous lichen planus. (05 Mar 2000)
