Medical Definition of Neutrotaxis
1. A phenomenon in which neutrophilic leukocytes are stimulated by a substance in such a manner that they are either attracted, and move toward it (positive neutrotaxis), or they are repelled, and move away from it (negative neutrotaxis); in some instances, there is no effect (sometimes called Indifferent neutrotaxis).
