Multiple skin tumours, most frequently on the head, each resembling a well-differentiated squamous carcinoma or keratoacanthoma; individual tumours resolve spontaneously after several months, leaving deep-pitted scars with irregular crenellated borders, and are usually replaced by additional new tumours; autosomal dominant inheritance.
