Medical Definition of Miller fisher syndrome
1.
A syndrome characterised by total external ophthalmoplegia, cerebellar ataxia, and loss of tendon reflexes. Early symptoms include fever, headache, and pneumonia. They are followed by facial paralysis, diplopia, and paresthesia of the arms and trunk. It is sometimes viewed as a variant of guillain-barre syndrome.
