1. One of two ligaments that extend from the posterior part of the lateral meniscus to the lateral surface of the medial meniscus: anterior meniscofemoral ligament and posterior meniscofemoral ligament. Synonym: ligamenta meniscofemorale. (05 Mar 2000)
