Medical Definition of Lobus appendicularis
1. An occasional tongue-like process extending downward from the right lobe of the liver lateral to the gallbladder; a similar process may, though rarely, extend from the left lobe. Synonym: lobus appendicularis, lobus linguiformis. (05 Mar 2000)
