Medical Definition of Leukoencephalopathy
1. White matter changes first described in children with leukaemia, associated with radiation and chemotherapy injury, often associated with methotrexate; pathologically characterised by diffuse reactive astrocytosis with multiple areas of necrotic foci without inflammation.
