Medical Definition of Jargon aphasia
1. A form of aphasia characterised by an inability to construct a grammatical sentence, and the use of unintelligible or incorrect words; caused by a lesion in the dominant temporal lobe. Synonym: agrammatica, agrammatologia, jargon aphasia. (05 Mar 2000)
