Medical Definition of Isochromic anaemia

1. Any anaemia in which the concentration of haemoglobin in the erythrocytes is within the normal range, i.e., the mean corpuscular haemoglobin concentration is from 32 to 36%. Synonym: isochromic anaemia. (05 Mar 2000)
