Medical Definition of Iopamidol

An effective non-ionic, water-soluble contrast agent which is used in myelography, arthrography, nephroangiography, arteriography, and other radiological procedures. Its non-ionic, water-soluble properties result in optimal imaging and reduced toxicity.
Pharmacological action: contrast media.
