Medical Definition of Infundibulofolliculitis
1. Inflammation of the follicular infundibulum, the superficial part of the hair follicle above the opening of the sebaceous gland. Disseminated recurrent infundibulofolliculitis, a pruritic papular follicular eczema of the trunk and proximal extremities; usually occurs in blacks. (05 Mar 2000)
