Medical Definition of Indium-111

1. A cyclotron-produced radionuclide with a half-life of 2.8049 days and with gamma ray emissions of 171.2 and 245.3 kiloelectron volts. In a chloride form, it is used as a bone marrow and tumour-localizing tracer; in a chelate form, as a cerebrospinal fluid tracer.
