Medical Definition of Incontinence pads
1. Absorbent pads made of various materials used for personal hygiene usually in urinary incontinence and usually in the elderly. They may be worn as underpants or as pants liners. They are made of absorbent materials such as fluff wood pulp and hydrogel absorbent with viscose rayon, polyester, polypropylene, or polyethylene coverstock. (12 Dec 1998)
