1. Gastric mucosal hyperplasia, either mucoid or glandular; the latter type may be associated with the Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. Synonym: giant hypertrophy of gastric mucosa, hypertrophic gastritis, Menetrier's syndrome. (05 Mar 2000)
