Definition of Extravolution
1. Noun. The continuance of evolution, by technological or biotechnological means, outwith and beyond (see extra-) the constraints of ordinary human (or non-human) biological evolutionary processes. First used in this exact sense in 2006 by D.J. MacLennan. ¹
