Medical Definition of Eosinophilic leukaemia
1. Eosinophilocytic leukaemia, a form of granulocytic leukaemia in which there are conspicuous numbers of eosinophilic granulocytes in the tissues and circulating blood, or in which such cells are predominant; in chronic disease of this type, the total white blood cell count may be as high as 200,000 to 250,000 per cu mm, with as many as 80 or 90% being eosinophils, chiefly adult forms.
