Medical Definition of Enteric plexus
1. The autonomic plexus in the wall of the intestine; it consists of three parts, submucosal, myenteric, and subserosal; ganglionic cells are scattered through the myenteric and submucosal plexus. Synonym: plexus entericus. (05 Mar 2000)
