Medical Definition of Ellipticines
1.
A group of antileukaemic agents with immunosuppressive properties, isolated primarily from ochrosia elliptica. They inhibit both DNA and RNA synthesis.
Pharmacological action: antineoplastic agent, phytogenic, immunosuppressive agents.
