Medical Definition of Dinitrogenase reductase

1. A non-haem iron-sulfur protein isolated from clostridium pasteurianum and other bacteria. It is a component of nitrogenase along with molybdoferredoxin and is active in nitrogen fixation. (12 Dec 1998)
