Medical Definition of Cusp height
1. The shortest distance between the tip of a cusp and its base plane, the shortest distance between the deepest part of the central fossa of a posterior tooth and a line connecting the points of the cusps of the tooth. Facial height, the linear dimension in the midline from the hairline to the menton. Nasal height, the distance between the nasion and the lower border of the nasal aperture.
