Medical Definition of Current drive
1.
Any of a variety of techniques used to cause current flow in a plasma. See inductive current drive, RF current drive, non-inductive current drive. Usually applied to schemes used to generate current in tokamaks and other toroidal devices which require internal plasma currents.
