1. A narrow sharp-edged crest of white fibre matter, continuous with the alveus hippocampi, attached to the medial border of the hippocampus; composed of efferent fibres of the hippocampus that form the fornix, fibres of the hippocampal commissure, and septohippocampal fibres.
