Medical Definition of Coronary arteries
1. The arteries that supply the heart with oxygenated blood. There are a number of vessels that are important with regard to coronary artery disease, but the right coronary artery, posterior descending, left main coronary artery, left anterior descending and left circumflex are probably the most frequently surgically grafted coronary vessels.
