Medical Definition of Chromometer

1. A device used to find out the concentration of particles suspended in a solution or a liquid medium by beaming light through it and measuring the amount of light that makes it out the other side. The method of colourimetry is based on the Beer-Lambert Law. (09 Oct 1997)
