Medical Definition of Chorioadenoma

A benign neoplasm of chorion, especially with hydatidiform mole formation.
Chorioadenoma destruens, hydatidiform mole in which there is an unusual degree of invasion of the myometrium or its blood vessels, causing haemorrhage, necrosis, and occasionally rupture of the uterus or embolism of molar tissue to the lungs; there is marked proliferation of the trophoblast, but avascular villi may also be found.
Synonym: invasive mole.
