Medical Definition of Chlorphentermine

A sympathomimetic agent that was formerly used as an anorectic. It has properties similar to those of dextroamphetamine. It has been implicated in lipid storage disorders and pulmonary hypertension.
Pharmacological action: sympathomimetic.
