It has no antiparkinson actions when given alone. Pharmacological action: antiparkinson agents, dopamine agents, enzyme inhibitors. Chemical name: Benzenepropanoic acid, alpha-hydrazino-3,4-dihydroxy-alpha-methyl-, monohydrate, (S)- (12 Dec 1998)
